Writing as a teenager

For us stubborn teenagers, we absolutely dislike writing, let alone the simple thought of it! Don't you agree? This isn't all the teenagers out there, but it sure is the majority. For some reason we just do not enjoy this activity although it is a very helpful skill to hold in the life that is ahead of us. Our generations biggest idea of writing is text messages, and social media, making writing an essay seem completely horrifying. But who forces you to assume writing is a boring task, nobody, it is yourself holding you back. If you are into it and you brain storm ideas of what to write in a creative way, then it is not so boring because you are into it. I think us the teenagers create this barrier that stops us from actually liking the task of writing, which is totally changeable.

  1. Your absolutely right about our generation writing messages threw texting or social media. Its not bad nor good but at the same time writing is always awesome, creative, plus amusing when it comes to a great story or letter. In my opinion if your writing a message to someone professional, I prefer either a email or hand written letter!

  2. I completely agree with that. Writing can be fun if the person that is writing controls the topic that he/she is writing about. It gets interesting and can be fun if you write about something you enjoy.

  4. I agree with I never liked writing even till this day, but it's something we have to learn to do in order to become successful. So i guess we just have to enjoy it because soon we might even miss it.
