Boss treating you differently?
In the work place, your boss can either be very strict, or very friendly, or perhaps a little of both. But what if you started to notice a little favoritism going around with your boss and a colleague. I personally would be upset that my boss would decide to play this out, it is quite childish if you ask me, because it should be a professional environment. For example, for this colleague it is permitted or so "allowed" to enter work late, yet for me the boss would write me up? That is unfair, the rules and regulations should apply to all employees, that way everyone is treated the same. If this situation were to happen to me at a work place, I would feel offended and a bit angry, that is not the way things should be in a professional environment. Relationships in the work place should be strictly professional, no if ands or buts.

I agree with you, and as much as the worker and the boss anywhere you're working should think hard about things. In my case, where I worked in a restaurant, the manager there consented the waitresses a lot, giving them time off whenever they wanted , and I think that is wrong. They should be more professional and put their workers rules
ReplyDeleteI agree with Oscar on this to well the manager should be should be more strict about stuff well some stuff but mainly not letting people get out of work for some stupid reason.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you all working environments should be professional. I believe we are equal so we shouldn't be treated differently no matter the circumstance. If it was the other way around it would be the same thing because people are getting treated unfairly.
ReplyDeleteI agree that favoritism should not be displayed in a work enviorment. Youre right that this would be childish and they should be expected to act more professional. All work areas should be in a professional work enviorment.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great response, in all work areas favoritism should not be given to a certain individual, everyone should be treated equally and therefore talking to the manager should also be something you do in order for him/her to realize there is something you do not agree with going on.
ReplyDeleteI agree Vanessa, I also would be really pissed off . Our employers need to treat us fair . They shouldn't just like one employee just because they are kissing their butts.
ReplyDeleteBoss will treat you bad if they don't like you because they are better then you, won't care if you quit because they could get someone else. They're not the one losing you are.
